  • Miyama Toyukan is an interactive recreational facility built in the 'Satsuma-yaki Village of Miyama' in Hioki City, Kagoshima Prefecture. Currently, we host 4,000 groups for pottery experiences annually. In our shop, we sell products from Modern Satsuma Co., Ltd., which operates the facility, and also exhibit and sell works created by various kilns and workshops scattered throughout Miyama.

  • Enjoy a casual pottery experience with guidance from professional potters♪ Up to 50 people can participate in the hand-building experience simultaneously. If you have specific items you would like to make, such as mugs, rice bowls, or nameplates, please inquire when making your reservation.
