[Watching the Grand Sumo March Tournament]
Sumo is Japan's national sport. There are six 'Honbasho' (official tournaments) held annually.
One of these is held in Osaka every March. You will watch the matches from Chair Seat D, allowing you to experience the intensity of sumo up close.

We provide a simultaneous interpretation service using Pana-Guide (receivers).
You can enjoy watching the Grand Sumo Tournament while listening to English commentary through earphones.
The commentary provides real-time explanations of match flow, wrestler highlights, and the unique rules and cultural background of sumo, making it easy to understand even for first-time viewers.
*Interpretation audio is delivered via Pana-Guide.

Please note that the reception date and time and schedule (contents) on the day will vary depending on the plan.
If you are a group, one person should make a reservation for the number of people in the group. Seats for watching sumo wrestling will be assigned based on the order.
Cancellations are not possible after a reservation is confirmed. (Please note that refunds will only be given if the 2026 Spring Grand Sumo Tournament is canceled.)
On the day, the representative will need to present identification (passport, etc.).
Please follow the instructions of staff. Please behave with good sense and consideration for both yourself and others. Any disruptive behavior will result in you being asked to leave the hall (no refunds).
Please come to THE SUMO HALL HIRAKUZA between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM.
The sumo practice experience at THE SUMO HALL HIRAKUZA is unreserved seating.
To watch the March Grand Sumo Tournament at Osaka Prefectural Sports Center, you will need reserved seats (seat D).
Anyone aged 4 and over will need a ticket.
If there is a defect in the original sumo merchandise, it will only be handled at the venue where you received it on the day, and we cannot handle it at a later date.
Tickets and merchandise will not be delivered in advance.
