  • Biei Christmas Tree (Bibaushi)

A classic landmark in the hilly area of Biei, Hokkaido. Standing alone in the vast fields, this tree is particularly soothing against the backdrop of lush greenery and blue skies in summer, making it a popular photo spot.

In winter, it stands amidst a vast, pure white snowfield. The tree appears even more sacred as it rises from the natural snowy landscape, and it looks even more mysterious at dusk.

  • Shirahige Waterfall

Surrounded by lush trees in summer, the waterfall features dreamy, clear, and refreshing water, complemented by the stunning emerald blue river. It is one of Biei's most iconic and popular attractions.

In winter, the water freezes the moment it flows down. The surrounding trees and rocks are covered in snow, and the steam rising from the hot spring water creates a dreamy and breathtaking scene, giving the illusion that time has stopped.

  • Shikisai-no-oka

Spring (April-May) is the transition period after the snow melts. The lines of the hills and the distant mountain scenery intertwine to present the quiet and pure wilderness of Hokkaido.

In early summer (June), the landscape turns colorful as tulips and various flowers begin to bloom, adding layers to the flower fields.

Mid-summer (July-August) brings the most brilliant time of the year, with lavender, sunflowers, and other flowers weaving together to create a rainbow-like landscape, representing the most iconic scenery of Hokkaido.

Autumn (September-October) shifts to golden tones, with vast farmland and autumnal hills creating a calm and warm scene.

Winter (November-March of the following year) transforms into a snow kingdom. Choose from snowmobiling, snow rafting, or sledding for an exciting and fun experience! Even if you are a beginner, snowmobiling is easy to learn, allowing you to fully enjoy the thrill of racing across the snow!

Please refer to the official website of Shikisai-no-oka for snowmobile project fees. If it is unavailable, it will be replaced by a snowmobile experience at Chiyoda Farm. Thank you for your understanding.
