When we opened, the row of cherry trees in front of us was in full bloom, and we wanted a name that people would call us by with affection. We chose the name Kasho (Flower Bloom) with the hope that it would be a name that people would feel affectionate towards. Not only can you feel the change of seasons in the scenery, but also in the food. We use seasonal vegetables unique to each season and offer them in a variety of cooking methods that bring out the flavor of the ingredients. For the grilled skewers, we use fresh "Kumano Jidori" chicken delivered every morning. Each skewer is carefully grilled. Enjoy pairing it with wine or sake.
We offer skewered dishes grilled over fragrant charcoal. We use "Kumano Jidori" chicken from Kumano City, Mie Prefecture. This high-quality chicken is raised on a special diet made from a mixture of spring water from the Kumano Kodo trail, rice from Maruyama Senmaida, and the peels of Shinki fruit. From butchering to preparation and skewering, a variety of skilled techniques are carried out carefully by hand in the store.
