Monzenchaya offers a wide variety of food and drinks. Among the dishes, the Robatayaki made with carefully selected ingredients and the Fukagawa clam steamed rice, which has been a favorite for 43 years since the restaurant opened, are must-try dishes. Enjoy them with the owner's carefully selected local sake. The restaurant also has a comfortable atmosphere and various types of seating available. There is also an all-you-can-drink course, making it perfect for various banquets!
We offer a wide variety of robatayaki dishes using carefully selected ingredients such as seafood, river fish, Oyama chicken, and vegetables. You can feel the live atmosphere as our chefs grill the dishes in front of you at the round hearth counter made from Zelkova wood. If you're not sure what to order, try our five-item skewer assortment. We also recommend our "ash-dried and matured" dried fish, which is matured and dried in volcanic ash mixed with natural salt. Please enjoy the natural flavor of the fish to your heart's content.
Our signature dish is "Fukagawa clam steamed rice," which is steamed in a bamboo steamer using the traditional Japanese cooking technique of "cooking together." Matured clams are placed on rice cooked with high-quality kelp stock and clam extract, and then steamed all at once, resulting in a dish that allows you to enjoy the mellow, rich flavors that come together. We also have a wide variety of homemade sake snacks available, such as "braised pork," "Tochio fried tofu," and "steamed clams in sake." Enjoy them with our carefully selected local sake.
Monzenchaya offers courses with all-you-can-drink options perfect for parties, starting at 5,000 yen. Our recommendation is the "Tekomai Course," where you can enjoy seasonal vegetables and fish, as well as our specialty "Fukagawa clam steamed rice." As the course is individually served, there is no need to serve food, and the organizer doesn't have to keep an eye on it! Also, if you want to enjoy our proud "Oyama Chicken Grilled Assortment," try the "Omikoshi Course." We can be used for a variety of occasions, from company parties to casual drinking parties and dinner parties.
Boasting a great location just a few steps from Monzen-Nakacho Station on the Tozai Line, our restaurant is easily recognizable by its charming exterior. Once you step through the white noren curtain and into the restaurant, you'll find a warm space with an abundance of wood. The counter seats have a lively, casual atmosphere, perfect for a date or a quick drink after work. We also have spacious table seats and a tatami room on the second floor that can be reserved for private use for groups of 20 or more. We welcome a wide range of guests, from solo diners to large groups.

If you need to change your order, please contact KKday customer service. However, please note that the decision on whether to allow changes to your order rests with KKday and the restaurant, so please fill out your order details carefully when placing your order.

Japanese restaurants strictly adhere to the reservation time system. If you are late, it will be considered as a voluntary cancellation of the reservation. Latecomers cannot request changes, cancellations, or refunds for this reason.
The Promotional photos are for reference only. If the actual dishes served is different than the reference, please reflect that to the restaurant, who will be responsible for this matter fully.
Dining time is limited. If you're late and therefore shorten the dining time, the dining time cannot be extended.
The restaurant may contact users via email. Please provide an email address that you frequently use and can regularly check.
You understand, agree, and authorize the booking platform to provide booking services and make reservations and relevant requests on your behalf with the restaurant as necessary.
Notwithstanding anything contained in KKday's Terms of Use, this product is a direct contract between the restaurant and the user. KKday customer service will provide assistance to the best of our ability, but cannot assume any responsibility.
If dining is not possible due to a natural disaster, KKday will refund the reservation fee.
