Known as a hidden gem with a 45-year history, Hokkai En offers about 200 dishes! We are highly regarded by celebrities as well. Enjoy Beijing cuisine prepared by local chefs, tailored for the Japanese palate! A must-try for every guest is our 'dumplings', packed with meat and juices inside a thick, handmade wrapper. Enjoy them in the Hokkai En style—as they are, without any dipping sauce! We have everything from small private rooms to party spaces that can accommodate up to 100 people. We also accept banquet reservations in private rooms starting from 5000 yen for 8 dishes with a 2-hour all-you-can-drink plan. We also welcome large group bookings.
Since opening in 1967 as Tokyo's first Peking restaurant, we have been serving dishes representative of Beijing, including Peking duck, steamed buns, and dumplings. Our renowned chef, who has more than 30 years of experience, continues to evolve while preserving tradition, and today we continue to cook with all our heart to bring smiles to our customers' faces.
The restaurant has comfortable sofa seats and various types of private rooms, so it is recommended for everyday use as well as girls' parties and welcoming and farewell parties. There are also a wide variety of courses to suit the occasion, making the meal even more delicious.
Did you know? In fact, most of the Chinese food we eat in Japan is "Cantonese cuisine." "Beijing cuisine" refers to imperial cuisine and local cuisine eaten by Beijing residents. We always have more than 200 types of menu items available, with a focus on our proud Beijing cuisine!
The restaurant serves dishes made with vegetables procured directly by the owner. By using ingredients that are good to see, the restaurant is able to deliver hygienic, fresh, and delicious dishes.
