Regarding Mt. Ibuki and Sekigahara Cave, there are some areas with poor footing, so we ask that you refrain from wearing sandals or heels and instead wear sneakers or similar.
On Mt. Ibuki, you will have to walk about 20 minutes one way from the parking lot along the mountain trail to the area where the spirea blooms.
The habitat of the spirea is fenced off and cannot be entered.
The best time to see the flowers is from early July to late August for the spirea and from mid-July to late October for the dianthus. The flowering period may vary slightly depending on weather conditions.
On Mt. Ibuki, Sky Terrace, where the parking lot is located, is also at an altitude of 1,260m, so you can enjoy the view without having to climb the mountain.
There are three courses to the summit of Mt. Ibuki: one that is about 500m one way and takes about 30 minutes, one that is about 1000m one way and takes about 45 minutes, and one that is about 1500m one way and takes about 60 minutes.
The course to Mt. Ibuki is about 500m one way and takes about 30 minutes. It is steep and most of the course is in the form of steps. There are many places near the summit where limestone is exposed, so please be careful.
Regarding Mt. Ibuki, please note that on the approximately 1,000m one-way, 45-minute course and the approximately 1,500m one-way, 60-minute course, due to time constraints, you will not be able to climb to the summit on this tour.
