The southwestern reaches of Western Australia are a playground of dreamy beaches, ancient forests, rugged peaks, and windswept coastlines. On this six-day swag camping adventure from Perth, experience some of the South West Edge's most spectacular natural wonders from the otherworldly Wave Rock to the squeaky-white sands of Lucky Bay.

Hike remote ridgelines, swim in turquoise bays, explore national parks, and connect with culture with Traditional Owners. Wander the coastal beauty of Bremer Bay, climb into the canopy of towering karri trees, and sample world-class wine and local produce in Margaret River.

You'll travel with a small group, led by a passionate local guide, and sleep under star-filled skies in nature-based camps and bush hideaways. This is raw, real WA, a journey of wild places, open roads, and one you'll talk about long after the dust settles.

  • A moderate fitness level is required, with walks between 3-12 kilometres on some days. This may involve rough ground and perhaps getting wet
  • This tour requires a minimum of 4 people to operate. In the unlikely event your departure is cancelled because minimum numbers have not been met, we will refund your tour price in full
  • Itinerary changes may occur to ensure we provide the best possible experience. Weather conditions in Australia can change quickly, and our experienced guides will always put the safety of our passengers first. Any itinerary changes will be communicated to the group in advance
  • This is a participatory camping tour, meaning guests are expected to get involved by helping with basic tasks, such as meal preparation and packing up camp.
  • Accommodation includes a mix of national parks and campgrounds that offer basic toilet and shower facilities.
  • When camping, you'll sleep in a traditional Aussie swag—a sturdy canvas bed roll with a built-in mattress, used under the stars or in wet weather tents.
  • Sleeping bags: Please bring your own sleeping bag and pillow. All unused or retired sleeping bags are donated to a homeless charity, giving them a second life.
  • Weather conditions: Be prepared for extreme weather, including high temperatures, cold temperatures, and exposure to the elements. In the event of wet weather, group tents will be provided for shared shelter.
  • Should extreme weather affect the camping experience, alternative accommodation may be arranged. Any additional costs will be shared 50/50 between Untamed Escapes and guests

  • Please arrive at the designated location 10 minute(s) before the scheduled departure time, as the tour will depart on time

  • Due to limited space in the trailer, bags are restricted to 1 × 15 kg backpack/soft travel bag per person, plus one small piece of hand luggage for on the bus

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 33 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–32 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 working days.
