Puji Temple, also known as Qian Temple, is located at the southern foot of Lingjiu Peak on Baihuading Peak. It was first built in the second year of Zhenming (916) in Houliang. In the thirty-eighth year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1699), Putuo Zen Temple was built to protect the country and Yongshou, and was given the title of "Pu Ji Qun Ling", which was originally called "Pu Ji Zen Temple". The ancient buildings on the central axis of Puji Temple are the Royal Stele Hall, the Tianwang Hall, the Yuantong Hall and the Sutra Library.
