[Free time around Garinko Station]

There is about 60 minutes of free time near the Garinko Station, the base facility for sightseeing where the boarding terminal for Garinko is located. Don't miss the original Garinko goods, snacks, and other souvenirs available only at their shop!

The northernmost and one of the largest underwater observation towers in Japan. On the third floor, there is a panoramic observation deck and a cafe overlooking the Sea of Okhotsk. There is a mini aquarium at the undersea floor where you can observe the creatures of Okhotsk (fee applies).

Tokkari means "seal" in the Ainu language. This is the only facility in Japan where they protect and raise wild seals. You can see cute seals swimming in the pool.


[Illuminated Sounkyo Onsen Ice Fall Festival] (Fee: JP¥500)

"Sounkyo Onsen Ice Fall Festival" is an ice festival held in Sounkyo, Kamikawa Town, located in Daisetsuzan National Park in Hokkaido. Taking advantage of the cold climate, the ice sculptures are created along the Ishikari River. Its scenery is breathtaking, and visitors can also enjoy the tunnel, shrine, and slides made of ice. At night, the ice sculptures are lit up in seven different colors, creating a fantastic scene that will leave you with the best memories.

  • Warm clothes, non-slip shoes, gloves, heat packs, etc. are recommended to protect yourself from the cold.

  • The schedule is subject to change depending on weather, road conditions, and other circumstances.

  • Luggage such as suitcases will be kept in the trunk of the bus. You will not be able to take your luggage in or out during the tour, so please take care of your valuables by yourself.
