The final entrance to this event is at 9:00 PM. Depending on the queue situation, reception may close before 9:00 PM. In that case, you will not be able to enter even if you have an admission ticket, so please be aware of this in advance.
Admission may be restricted depending on the level of congestion.
The viewing area for this exhibition is limited, and you will not be able to enter the Ninomaru Palace or Honmaru Palace. (Those who apply for a ticket with admission to the Honmaru area can enter.)
Nijo Castle admission certificates (such as the World Heritage Nijo Castle Ownership Fund benefit or Kyoto City Annual Pass) will not be accepted for admission.
You cannot enter the Honmaru Palace. (Those who purchase a ticket with admission to the Honmaru area can enter.)
Those who live in Kyoto City or are students enrolled in schools in Kyoto City will receive a 500 yen discount for junior high school students and above, and a 300 yen discount for elementary school students and below. When using this discount, please be sure to bring identification that can verify your current address (driver's license, My Number card, resident registration card, etc.). The discount will not be given at the time of ticket purchase, but will be refunded at the special booth after admission.
Children of preschool age can enter free of charge.
