There were about 50 people on the boat. I barely spoke any English, but the guide was very kind and I didn't have any problems. Since you leave your luggage on the boat and go into the water or onto the islands, it's a good idea to bring as few valuables as possible. I only used cash for tips and for purchasing photos taken during the tour (200 baht each, optional). You'll generally wear a life jacket over your swimsuit, so even if you can't swim, it's fine! Regarding attire, I wore a hoodie over my swimsuit on the way there. On the way back, I took the bus (reservation required) in my swimsuit, but if your hotel is far away or you're concerned, there are restrooms at the port, so you can bring your underwear and clothes to change into. Regarding what to bring, a large towel is essential. If you want to take photos, you can bring a waterproof case for your smartphone with you into the water. Fins were available for rental, but I didn't think they were necessary. The boat rocked quite a bit, so if you're worried, take motion sickness medicine. Water and Pepsi were distributed frequently along the way. Raincoats were also distributed when it started to rain. It was a lot of fun! I think this price is cheap for this volume.
You can enjoy the beautiful sea to your heart's content! The long-tail boat is worth the money! Seasickness medicine is a must. It's also a good idea to bring a bath towel and a dry jacket.
This was my first time touring the Phi Phi Islands. The ocean was beautiful and the snorkeling was fun. I even saw a baby shark and a mother and baby monkey at Maya Bay. The guides were all very hospitable. I appreciated the unlimited water and cola on the boat. I think the price was incredible for such a fulfilling experience. I'm glad I chose this tour.
After much deliberation about which tour to choose, we decided on this one. Since we were staying near Patong Beach, we were picked up at our hotel and dropped off near Old Town just in time for our trip to the Sunday Night Market! Our guides were very considerate of us, always chatting with us, and were full of humor, making the tour incredibly enjoyable! They explained things in both English and Chinese, so they were fluent in many languages. We were able to visit many islands, which was a lot of fun! 😊 Our shoes were collected when we boarded the boat, so I recommend wearing sandals you don't mind getting covered in sand, and bringing water shoes with you. Also, the motion sickness medicine we got at a local convenience store was very effective, so I recommend that too!
