Miryang Healing Trip from Busan | Hanok Cafe + Traditional Temple & Makgeolli Experience
2026/05/09
Our tour guide, Mr. Hwang Tae-kyung, was extremely dedicated. The guests who signed up that day spoke various languages, and he could switch seamlessly between Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and English. He was the most fluent and language-friendly tour guide I've ever encountered, and I'm very grateful for his hard work. Miryang was a city I'd never heard of or visited before, but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The spring weather was stable and the temperature comfortable. The itinerary was well-planned. Although we were a couple traveling together, I think this trip is perfect for families with children, as the scenery is beautiful and there aren't many places requiring walking, making it very accessible for seniors. At Arirang Market, the raw beef bibimbap recommended by our guide was also delicious. Because everyone eats different things, he made sure to check on everyone's preferences to ensure everyone could order smoothly. Furthermore, Miryang, as a transportation hub during Joseon Dynasty, has a different historical background from the surrounding Silla-based Gyeongju and the capital Seoul. This helps in understanding local Korean culture and everyday architecture, making it a great destination for travelers interested in Korean history.
