I participated in a tour once in the summer, and I felt there were so many more seagulls in winter! However, this tour didn't include shrimp chips; you had to pay extra. The most enjoyable part was reaching the pedestrian overpass – it was fantastic! It was a shame that the tour was temporarily closed for maintenance. Also, the midday itinerary was a bit rushed; if you walked slowly, there wouldn't be time to eat, but you could buy some simple food to eat on the bus: bread/rice balls. The tour guide was great! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
We had the most wonderful trip to Amanohashidate and Ine led by HuaHua. It was a magical day, where we experienced the first snow of winter 2026, saw rainbows, and enjoyed the scenery of Kyoto by the coast. Our tour guide HuaHua was also attentive and excellent, making sure to cater to all members of our group by speaking in both English and Chinese. It was a smooth and comfortable journey throughout thanks to HuaHua, our driver and a carefully organised itinerary. The scenes were beautiful and we really enjoyed taking it all in and feeding the seagulls too. A highly recommended tour!
What impressed me most about this trip was Amanohashidate and the Ine boathouses. Enjoying one of Japan's three most famous scenic spots under a heavy snowfall was truly a unique experience. The boat trip and seagull feeding at the Ine boathouses reminded me of my happy memories of feeding seagulls in Matsushima long ago. Being able to enjoy a delicious abalone meal was also a great value. A special thank you to our guide, Mingming, for his detailed explanations; he must have worked hard to understand the history of the places we visited, which gave me a deep understanding of everything. The driver's smooth driving was also commendable. I will definitely participate again next time.
