The journey takes 90 minutes. Once you arrive, there are boat services available. It's recommended to board early and sit on the right side (the right side in the direction of travel) to get photos of the houses and gardens.
Due to time constraints, I couldn't plan much in Amsterdam. I found KKday's day tour, which included two attractions I wanted to visit at a very reasonable price. A guide named Deng led the tour. Before arriving at each attraction, he would introduce the local history, interesting stories, and best photo spots. Thanks to his guidance, the trip went smoothly and safely. We visited the popular Giethoorn in the morning to avoid the crowds, and then headed to the next attraction when it got hot. This perfectly avoided the hottest time of day – a very thoughtful arrangement! Thank you so much to him! The other tourists in the group were also very punctual; everyone was incredibly well-behaved. I hope KKday will offer more similar tours in various locations. For me, it was a very smooth and wonderful trip.
The tour guide was professional and friendly, the group members were all of high quality, the itinerary was well-organized, and the lunch was also good. I recommend this day tour; it's a great choice for visiting Amsterdam. Everything was excellent.
Long-distance train journeys are cost-effective, but short-distance journeys are often not worthwhile; the cost-effectiveness depends on individual circumstances.
