Day 1: Otavalo – Culture, Flavors, and Tradition

Begin your journey in Quito and head to the province of Imbabura. Stop at the Quitsato Equatorial Line, a unique point where ancient science and geography meet. Continue to Cayambe to savor its iconic biscuits paired with traditional leaf cheese, a local classic.

Next, visit the rose plantation at Molino San Juan to learn about the delicate cultivation process of one of Ecuador’s most famous flowers. Then, head to Otavalo, where cultural richness is expressed in every color and texture. Explore the famous Poncho Market, filled with crafts, textiles, and local expressions of identity.

Return to Quito to rest in a comfortable and tranquil environment, preparing for the next day’s activities.

Day 2: Nature and Rural Life in Nayón

Start your morning with a pickup from your hotel and head to Nayón, known as the “garden of Quito” for its vast variety of plants. Enjoy a tour among colors, aromas, and species of all kinds.
