From Berat: Osumi Canyoning Adventure at Bigazi Waterfall｜Albania

Discover one of the most beautiful natural adventures in Albania with this guided canyoning experience in Osumi Canyon at Bigazi Waterfall, a route perfect for families, children, friends, and couples looking for a safe and exciting adventure.

The tour begins in Berat at 09:00 AM, where you will meet your professional canyoning guide. From Berat we drive toward the canyon, a scenic journey of about 1 hour and 20 minutes through the stunning landscapes of southern Albania. During the drive you will enjoy spectacular views of Mount Tomori, one of the tallest and most sacred mountains in Albania.

On the way we make a short 10-minute stop in Bogova Village, where you can take a break, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and prepare for the adventure ahead.

After the break we continue driving about 20 minutes to Çorovodë, the gateway city to Osumi Canyon. Once we arrive, your guide will provide all the canyoning equipment including wetsuits, helmets, and harnesses. A full safety briefing and equipment check will be completed before entering the canyon.

Between 11:00 and 11:30 AM the adventure begins.

Inside the canyon you will spend 3–4 hours exploring one of Albania’s most impressive natural formations. You will walk through crystal-clear waters, swim in natural pools, jump into refreshing canyon basins, and complete four exciting rappels down waterfalls.

After the final rappel, the adventure continues with a short hiking section through another spectacular part of the canyon until reaching the exit point.

At the end of the experience we celebrate the adventure with a traditional Albanian lunch, where you can relax, share stories, and enjoy local food before returning to Berat.

For transportation you can either:
• Join the transport provided from Berat at 09:00 AM, or
• Arrive with your own car in Çorovodë at 11:00 AM.
