Embark on a 2-day wildlife discovery tour to Andasibe Mantandia National Park from Antananarivo. Explore the lush rainforest, stunning waterfalls, and a diverse array of wildlife that you won't find anywhere else in the world.

ITINERARY

DAY 1 | ANTANANARIVO - ANDASIBE PARK

Pick up start at : 7: 00 AM
We will meet you at the hotel or from the airport and drive for four hours to Andasibe village. The park is home to various reptiles, such as chameleons, endemic geckos, and others.

By the afternoon, you will visit the private reserve of Vakona forest lodge, where you will have an opportunity to observe upclose few lemurs species, possible to have selfi photo with them.

At 6:30 PM, enjoy a night walk safari at the community park to spot nocturnal animals, including small lemurs and endemic reptiles.

Tip: For comfort, do not forget to bring a raincoat, insect repellent, and a flashlight.

DAY 2 | ANDASIBE VILLAGE - ANTANANARIVO

7:00 AM – Analamazaotra Rainforest Trek
Start the morning with a half day guided trek through the lush Analamazaotra rainforest. After a short drive to the park entrance, meet your native local guide, who will lead the exploration in your preferred language and share fascinating insights into the park’s unique ecosystem and biodiversity. Admire the beautiful rainforest landscapes and discover a remarkable variety of endemic plants, birds, and wildlife. Keep an eye out for the iconic Babakoto or Indri Indri, Madagascar’s largest lemur, known for its distinctive calls echoing through the forest.

13:30 PM - After a delightful lunch in Andasibe, we will return on the same road N°2 to Antananarivo. We will transfer you directly to Antananarivo airport or your hotel according your travel plans.
