Salar de Uyuni Basic: Sunset, Stargazing, Mirror Effect｜Bolivia

This is a shared sightseeing tour to the Uyuni Salt Flats. You will explore the immense white sea and its surroundings aboard a shared 4×4 vehicle, which normally carries 6 to 7 passengers plus the tour guide.

You'll share the tour with other travelers from around the world, making each stop an opportunity to swap stories, take creative photos, and make new friends as you journey through truly spectacular natural landscapes.

Throughout the experience, you'll be accompanied by a highly experienced SPANISH-SPEAKING driver/tour guide who will not only take you safely along the routes of the high plateau, but will also share interesting information about the culture and geography of the region, as well as help you capture those unique photos that only the Salar can offer.

We start the sightseeing tour at approximately 4:30 p.m. Pack warm clothes and bring a fully charged camera battery. We're going to watch the sunset in Uyuni. We will head towards the Salar de Uyuni, where the most impressive sunset in Bolivia will be waiting for you. We'll enter the depths of the salt flat, which covers 10,400 km. Then, the tour guide will find the perfect spot for you to enjoy the exact moment when the sun reflects on the salt water, creating a giant mirror formed by the sky and the salt flat with the sun starting to disappear. It will undoubtedly be the ideal place to enjoy the best sunset at Salar de Uyuni. Your tour guide will help you take photos and videos of the reflection and perspective. Your guide will give you rain boots for your comfort during the rainy season from January 1 to mid-March. You will enjoy a sunset like you've never seen before. Then you'll enjoy the stars of the Milky Way, where the tour guide will help you take pictures. After enjoying the stars, we'll leave the Uyuni Salt Flats to head back to the city of Uyuni.
