Explore Sanjay Colony slum, where roughly 60,000 people live. Through the tour, you will learn about the joys and hardships of living in such a densely populated informal settlement. Visit a temple, understand the education system, home life, understand the role of faith in people's lives, and the challenges that people encounter on a daily basis, such as finding water.

Begin the tour by meeting your guide at the Harkesh Nagar Okhla metro station, outside gate number 2.

We will start with a visit to a public school to learn about the education system. We will then continue to the Sanjay Colony slum to see how people work in the clothing industry. Visit a household to experience how people live in their homes. Understand the role of faith in people’s lives, and end the tour with a visit to a temple.

Understand the education system in Delhi and the slum. Learn about the day-to-day challenges of living in the slum, looking at water, electricity, and hygiene.

Explore the area with a guide to ask questions along the way and hear personal stories.
