Day 1: Arrival in Leh
Land at Leh Airport. Because the altitude is very high and the air is thin, it is important to go straight to the hotel to rest and drink plenty of water. Avoid running or walking fast so your body can adjust. In the evening, take a gentle walk through the Leh market to see the local shops, then return early for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, start a scenic drive toward Sangam Point, where the Zanskar and Indus rivers meet. Along the way, stop to explore the mysterious Magnetic Hill and the peaceful Gurudwara, Till Alchi Monastery. Next, visit the Hall of Fame museum before heading to Shanti Stupa to catch a beautiful evening sunset. End the day with a drop-off at the local market or back at your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass
Depart early for Nubra Valley. Drive across the famous Khardung La Pass, enjoying incredible mountain views along the way. Stop for lunch at the T-point or in Khalsar village. Afterward, visit the giant Maitreya Buddha statue in Diskit village and explore the beautiful sand dunes of Hunder village before checking into your accommodation for the night.

Day 4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok Route
Leave by 9 AM for a scenic drive to Pangong Lake, following the path of the beautiful Shayok River and passing through quiet local villages. After stopping for lunch in Durbuk or Tangtse, arrive at the lake in the afternoon. Take in the views at the famous Shooting Point before checking into your lakeside stay for the evening.

Day 5: Pangong to Leh via Chang La Pass
Drive back toward Leh city today. En route, cross the high Chang La Pass and stop to visit the historic Thiksey Monastery and the famous school from the movie 3 Idiots. After checking into your hotel, spend a relaxed final evening browsing the local markets for souvenirs and crafts. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 6: Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before a smooth transfer to Leh Airport for your flight home, wrapping up your unforgettable independent journey through Ladakh.
