- If the rented vehicle is involved in an accident or theft, preventing the lessor from operating the business, the renter must bear the business loss calculated according to the listed rates.
- Insurance does not cover damages caused by natural disasters (e.g., typhoons, floods, landslides, earthquakes, etc.), unknown vehicle damage, or self-inflicted collisions.
- If the vehicle is returned earlier than scheduled, the fee for the unused period will not be refunded. If the vehicle is returned after the agreed time, please notify the branch in advance. Extension fees will be calculated at market rates and must be paid directly upon arrival at the branch.
- If you wish to pick up the vehicle early, please confirm vehicle availability and any additional fees with the branch. Generally, the amount of time you pick up early is the amount of time you must return early. If you are late for pick-up, please contact the branch or customer service before the scheduled time; otherwise, you will not be able to pick up the vehicle. If you are late for pick-up, fees for the unused period will not be refunded.
- Parking fees, traffic fines, and costs or losses resulting from traffic violations incurred during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the renter.

Overtime Fees
This product is billed per night (24 hours). For usage exceeding 24 hours, overtime fees will be calculated hourly based on actual overtime hours. The hourly overtime fee is 20% of the daily rental rate (calculated according to our company's weekday/weekend policy). If the delay exceeds 5 hours or the overtime fee exceeds the daily rental rate, it is more cost-effective to book an extra day.
Mileage Fee
The daily mileage limit is 400 km for all vehicle models. An additional 3 TWD per kilometer will be charged for gasoline vehicles, and 5 TWD per kilometer for diesel vehicles.
One-Way Rental (Pick up at one location, return at another)
Fees are charged according to the official rates of Hongpu Rental. Please add a note to your order and contact the official Hongpu Rental team for processing (fees will be collected by on-site staff).
Fuel Costs
Upon return, the fuel level must be the same as at pick-up. Excess fuel will not be refunded. If the fuel level is lower than at pick-up, in addition to the price difference for the fuel, a service fee of 300 TWD will be charged. Fuel difference calculation: Missing fuel bars (converted to liters) X announced fuel price.
E-tag Charging Method
Tolls incurred during the rental period will be calculated by Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection (FETC). Our company will query the rates based on the vehicle license plate number according to the toll records and rates provided on the FETC website and collect the fees upon vehicle return.
Optional Equipment
Child safety seat (subject to on-site availability. In case of damage or loss, the renter will be fully responsible for repair and compensation costs.)
Reminders
The renter must be the actual driver. The rental agreement must be signed by the renter, and the vehicle must be picked up by the renter in person. Any costs or losses arising from accidents, parking fees, traffic fines, or traffic violations during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the renter.
All company vehicles are non-smoking. Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited. Pets must be transported in a pet carrier or crate. Violators will be fined 3,000 - 6,000 TWD as per regulations. If pets cause damage to the interior, the renter will be responsible for the actual repair costs.
In the event of any accident, theft, or other incidents, please call 110 immediately to notify the police and inform our company. We will assist you with the follow-up process online. To protect your rights, do not settle privately with the other party; otherwise, the renter will be held fully liable for all losses and damages.
Emergency Handling: Please call 110 first to report to the police, and notify Hongpu Rental immediately during business hours. Our staff will provide real-time assistance and, depending on the situation, dispatch personnel to the scene or assist with insurance claims based on the police report. To protect your rights, do not settle privately; otherwise, you will not be covered by the rental agreement or insurance. Please drive and park carefully. If the vehicle requires maintenance, please contact the original manufacturer or our company to ensure vehicle safety.
If the renter fails to return the vehicle on time or extends the rental, the rights and obligations of both parties remain subject to the rental agreement until the vehicle is returned.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 3 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 2 to 2 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–1 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
