Aloha ‘Aina E-Bike Adventure

Itinerary

1. Check in at the Kailua storefront 30 minutes before the tour starts.
2. Get fitted with e-bikes and practice riding until comfortable.
3. Ride through Kailua streets and along the Marsh Trail to an ancient Hawaiian cultural site.
4. Participate in hana with wet tasks (weeding lo‘i kalo) or dry tasks (weeding māla or mulching).
5. Enjoy a lunch of local favorites.
6. Cruise back to the storefront and unload gear.

Restrictions

• Must be 16+ to ride e-bike and be with a parent or guardian

• Kids 8 and under will have to be in a kid bike trailer

-Be able to preform manual labor tasks such as weeding and lifting

Disclaimers

The volunteer portion involves wet tasks like working in lo‘i kalo (taro patches) and dry tasks like garden weeding or mulching. Work gloves, sunscreen, closed-toe shoes, and a hat are requested; these items are available for purchase at the storefront if not brought. The experience is family-friendly and suitable for participants of all ages.
