Product Info

Begin your journey through the heart of Mexico City where you’ll savor your way through Zocalo’s unforgettable taco culture. This tour was carefully curated in collaboration with Michelin-starred Chef, Vicente Torres, as it is shaped by culinary expertise–from the numerous taquerias to the final stop for a sweet bite.
Your first stop begins with two pillars of Mexico City street food–fresh tacos al pastor and tacos de carnitas. Savor the rich flavors that bring this authentic street food scene to life. Following this first stop, you will stroll through the vibrant Centro Historico where your guide will bring the surroundings to life–sharing insights into the rich history and culture of Zocalo. You’ll pass by great landmarks like the Templo Mayor, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Presidential Palace, and San Ildefonso College, where Frida Kahlo once studied. Enjoy the combination of history and authentic flavors that give you the full experience of the beautiful heart of Mexico City.

The tasting continues with a taco de pavo, followed by a taco de suadero that contains slow-cooked, tender beef that has been a street food staple that locals have been enjoying for generations. As the afternoon continues, you’ll move on to taste savory croquetas de tasajo and Mexican spirits, showcasing the depth of Mexican flavors.
Then finish your tour with the perfect sweet ending of a traditional Mexican pastry, pan dulce that can be paired with coffee or hot chocolate.
