Product Info

Embark on a scenic hike through a glacially carved mountain canyon to a backcountry reservoir. Float on ultralight packrafts and relax for a few hours before returning to the trailhead. This mild, 8.5-mile, out-and-back hike in the Bitterroot Mountains has 1,000 feet of elevation gain without any steep hiking. Enjoy beautiful views the entire way.

Meet your guide at the trailhead and set off on your hike. Expect a moderate amount of elevation gain, occasional obstacles like fallen trees, and creeks to cross along the way. Your feet may get wet.

Once you reach the reservoir, hop into your packraft and float on the water. Relax and take in the stunning mountain scenery. After a few hours, return to the trailhead.

Your expert guide is Wilderness First Responder Certified, Leave No Trace Certified, and Food-Handler Certified. They will carry packrafting gear for the first two adult tickets booked on each trip, as well as first aid, a Garmin GPS communicator, water filtration, a toiletries kit, and other necessities.
