The boat ride to the diving site takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the Gansbaai coastline and surrounding waters. Marine wildlife such as dolphins, seals, and seabirds are often spotted during the journey.

Groups take turns entering the cage, which can accommodate 4-6 people at a time. No diving experience is necessary. Participants wear wetsuits and masks and breathe naturally while submerged. The crew uses bait and chum to attract sharks to the vicinity, ensuring ethical practices that do not harm the animals.

Once a shark approaches, participants duck underwater to view the shark from the safety of the cage, often coming within inches of these awe-inspiring creatures.
