Today's first adventure activity is exploring three trails in the Tahune Forest Adventure Park: Huon Pine Circuit, Tahune Airwalk Cantinlever, and Swinging Bridges Circuit (generally 2.5-3 hours, but the time will be shorter if guests hike faster that day).
If you're looking for a more relaxed experience, consider the Huonpine Trail—a tranquil riverside path with some of the world's most accessible Huonpine forests. These ancient, slow-growing trees are unique to Tasmania, with some sections estimated to be up to 2,500 years old.
Afterwards, we will head to Hastings Cave.
Here you have about 60 minutes to have lunch on your own or swim in the hot spring pool, and then stroll along the hot spring nature trail (if no guests want to swim that day, or if it rains or the weather is cold, we will extend the time to make up for this part).

The Tahune Airwalk Cantinlever is a gentle uphill path that winds its way through the forest with 104 steps to reach the skywalk. This steel walkway meanders 619 meters, passing through the treetops and finally arriving at a stunning viewing platform 50 meters above the Huon River. You can enjoy a unique experience suspended above the forest canopy, taking in breathtaking views of the treetops and the surrounding wilderness.
For hiking enthusiasts, we will continue to offer the Huon Pine Circuit hiking trail on the ground.
The Swinging Bridge Trail will take us across a 100-meter-long suspension bridge over the Huon River—a thrilling experience and a great spot for taking fun photos. Afterward, we'll follow a short forest path to the second bridge, a 60-meter-long bridge spanning the Picton River.
Newdegate Cave, a spectacular basalt cave resembling a cathedral, is adorned with stalactites, stalagmites, and flowstones, formed 40 million years ago. The cave maintains a constant temperature of 9 degrees Celsius year-round, so don't forget to bring a sweater. The chambers are spacious, with no cramped areas, but there are many steps to climb. Along the way, a guide will explain the cave's fascinating history, geological formations, unique fauna, and breathtaking natural scenery.
