-What you can expect-
The River Kwai Bridge, Kanchanaburi's most famous attraction, has a legendary history. Enjoy a unique experience with your private longtail boat and local captain, riding under the iconic bridge.

During the 2.5-hour scenic boat ride, you'll stop at two spots. First, visit Wat Tham Khao Pun. A 10-minute uphill walk takes you to the entrance of an underground cave with nine chambers, various Thai religious sculptures, and a large reclining Buddha statue. Despite the bat smell, it's worth seeing.

Next, stop at the original JEATH War Museum to learn about Kanchanaburi's history and see poignant photos from World War II.

Optionally, you might visit Chungkai Military Cemetery, depending on gate access. This isn't part of the standard itinerary, but a bonus if available.

Conclude your tour back at the famous bridge, creating unforgettable memories.

  • Meeting point description: Meet your captain at the big tree on the right side of the River Kwai Bridge to start your tour. Meeting point instructions will be sent to you via email after booking.(River Khwae Bridge, Tha Ma Kham, Mueang Kanchanaburi District, Kanchanaburi, Thailand)

  • Know in advance:Wat Tham Khao Pun cave houses bats and has a strong smell, with some narrow sections. If you prefer not to visit, inform the tour operator by the day before. Note that this stop cannot be replaced, but you'll be taken to a viewpoint with lovely bars instead

  • The boat has a small roof, but if it rains you might get wet. Please be prepared for this scenario

  • Rain in Thailand is unpredictable and can happen anytime. The tour will continue in the rain if conditions are safe, and no refund will be granted. If conditions are determined to be unsafe, the tour will be cancelled

  • Note that the Chungkai Military Cemetery is not part of the standard itinerary and is a bonus stop if accessible. Visiting depends on whether the privately-owned entrance is open

  • Extra fees to be paid on-site:Entrance fee to Wat Tham Khao Pun: 30 Baht per person

  • Entrance fee to JEATH War Museum: 50 Baht per person
