This guided day-trip will take you from Ljubljana to the magical lake Bled. There you can visit a 12th-century castle that offers spectacular views of the lake Bled and its tiny island in the middle. Next, you can take a boat ride with “Pletna” – a traditional boat made by the locals and visit the only true island in Slovenia. Make sure to try the famous local dessert, the Bled cream cake before leaving.

After exploring the area of Bled, you will head south, to the Karst region where you will visit the famous Postojna cave. Take a ride on an electrical train through the caves to discover the extraordinary wonders of the underground world. You’ll be amazed by the drop stones and limestone curtains.

Before returning to Ljubljana, you will visit the charming village of Predjama, where you can visit a medieval castle, dramatically perched on a hillside.
