  • Embark on a two-day in-depth journey into the natural wonders of the Kanto and Niigata regions of Japan, combining waterfalls, canyons, cable cars, hot springs, and rural culture.
  • On the first day, visit Fukiwari Falls, known as the "Niagara Falls of the Orient," and stroll along the canyon trails to admire the magnificent valleys and natural scenery. Enjoy a traditional Gunma lunch and have the option to participate in seasonal fruit picking. In the afternoon, visit Kiyotsu Gorge, one of Japan's three great gorges, and walk through the famous "Tunnel of Light" to admire the dreamlike waterscape where art and nature blend seamlessly. Overnight at the Naeba Prince Hotel, enjoy the hot springs and highland resort atmosphere.
  • On the second day, take the Dragondola Valley Ropeway, one of Japan's longest sightseeing ropeways, which is about 5.5 kilometers long. Overlooking the magnificent valley, forest, and mountain scenery, stroll along forest trails, observation decks, and natural attractions such as the reflecting lake. Outside of the autumn foliage season, head to the Hakkaisan Ropeway, known as the "Castle in the Sky," and ascend to the observation deck at an altitude of 1,147 meters. From there, enjoy panoramic views of the Uonuma Plain and the Echigo Three Mountains. If the weather is right, you may even have the chance to see a dreamy sea of clouds.
  • At midday, visit Takumi no Sato, a roadside station full of Japanese rural charm, to experience the culture of artisans and the slow pace of rural life, try out traditional crafts, taste local delicacies, and purchase unique souvenirs.
  • Finally, we headed to Suwa Gorge, a representative hot spring resort, strolled along the valley trails, and admired the natural beauty of the suspension bridge, streams, and mountains, bringing the two-day trip to a perfect close.

Fukiwari Falls, located in Gunma Prefecture, is approximately 30 meters wide and has a drop of about 7 meters. Over the years, the river has eroded the tuff riverbed, creating a huge fissure in the center. The torrents cascade down, seemingly "cutting" the riverbed open, hence the name "Fukiwari Falls." It is also known as the "Niagara Falls of the Orient" and is one of Gunma Prefecture's most representative natural landscapes. The area around the falls is well-developed, featuring valley trails, observation decks, and a floating Kannon-do (Kannon Temple). Visitors can stroll along the trails to experience the awe-inspiring power of the falls up close, or enjoy panoramic views of the valley, admiring the magnificent scenery where the river, cliffs, and forest intertwine. Fukigiri Falls presents a different appearance in each season: in spring, new greenery sprouts, and the valley is full of life; in summer, the water volume is abundant, the waterfall is magnificent, and the air is cool and pleasant; in autumn, maple leaves, beech trees, and other forests are dyed in a variety of colors such as red, yellow, and orange, forming a rich and layered autumn foliage landscape in the valley; in winter, under the influence of low temperatures, icefalls and snow scenes can occasionally be seen around the falls, presenting a tranquil and spectacular winter landscape. The changing natural scenery in each season makes Fukigiri Falls a classic valley scenic spot in the Kanto region that is worth visiting all year round.

Kiyotsu Gorge, located in Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture, is one of Japan's three great gorges, along with Kurobe Gorge and Osugitani Gorge. The Kiyotsu River, eroded over millions of years, has carved a V-shaped gorge hundreds of meters deep, with spectacular columnar jointed rock walls on both sides. It possesses immense geological and scenic value and has been designated a National Scenic Spot and Natural Monument of Japan. In 2018, in conjunction with the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale, architects redesigned and created "Tunnel of Light," combining the original viewing tunnel with light, water, mirrors, and spatial design. This integration of natural landscape and art installation has made it a world-renowned land art piece. The approximately 750-meter-long tunnel features several unique viewing spaces, allowing visitors to appreciate the gorge from different angles. The most famous end point, Panorama Station (Water Mirror Reflection), uses shallow water to reflect the sky and gorge, creating a visually stunning reflection. The light and shadow installations and framed viewing windows within the tunnel also allow visitors to experience the unique charm of architecture, art, and nature coexisting as they move through the tunnel.
