Set sail on a captivating whale-watching adventure in the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park, one of the world's premier whale-watching locations.

You can choose between the following ticket options available in the order box:


- Option 1: 2.5-hour boat trip, available in the morning or early afternoon
- Option 2: 2-hour boat trip, available in the morning or late afternoon (summer months)
As you cruise through these rich waters, you'll have the chance to spot up to 13 different whale species, including humpbacks and minke whales, in their natural habitat. The prime season for whale watching runs from May to October. Weather permitting, the tour may venture into the Saguenay Fjord, where towering cliffs reach heights of up to 450 metres, offering impressive views and potential wildlife sightings.

Throughout the journey, certified bilingual naturalists will share insights about the marine life you encounter, enhancing your understanding of this unique ecosystem. This eco-friendly tour prioritises minimal environmental impact while providing an extraordinary marine experience in the heart of the St. Lawrence.

Reminders

  • Please refer to your voucher for final information regarding meeting points, pick-up locations, and pick-up time

  • Meeting point description: Since parking is not available directly at the meeting point, it is recommended using the paid car park just up the road. From there, it's just a short walk to the meeting point. Boarding will start approximately 30 minutes before departure time.(159 QC-138, Baie-Sainte-Catherine, QC G0T 1A0, Canada)

  • Accessibility:Not suitable for wheelchair users, pregnant women, guests with back or mobility problems

  • Not allowed:Children under the age of 6

  • Know in advance:Boats depart on time, so please arrive at the meeting point early

  • Cruises operate rain or shine unless weather conditions pose a safety risk to passengers

  • The detour into the Saguenay Fjord will take place only if time and weather conditions allow

  • Upon arrival, waterproof jackets and pants are provided, and you will have to sign a release form for the activity

  • Boat fleet contains 24 or 60-passenger Zodiacs. The choice of boat will be based on logistical reasons, therefore the size of the boat cannot be guaranteed

  • The sighting rate is extremely high. However, as the marine park is a natural environment, sometimes the mammals can be more elusive. If no sightings are made, you'll be offered another whale watching tour on the large boat

  • Remember to bring:The provided jacket and pants are waterproof but not insulated, so it's recommended layering warm clothing underneath

  • Closed shoes (not sandals) are required

  • A change of clothes for after the activity

  • Sunscreen and sunglasses
