- About the SADO NIIGATA PASS
By purchasing this pass, you can enjoy the following tickets at a great value.
After purchase, please present the confirmation email you receive at the Tourist Information Center inside JR Niigata Station to collect your tickets.

① Niigata City Sightseeing Loop Bus 1-Day Pass: Unlimited rides on the sightseeing loop bus touring Niigata City for one day.
② Sado-Niigata-Pass: Includes a bus ticket between Niigata Station and the Niigata Port Sado Kisen Terminal, plus a round-trip ticket for the Sado Kisen Car Ferry (2nd class, non-reserved seating).
③ Sado 3-Day Bus Pass: Unlimited rides on local buses within Sado City for 3 days. View the route map here.
④ Electric bicycle rental benefit on Sado Island: Electric bicycles can be rented at two locations: Aikawa Tourist Information Center and Minami-Sado Tourist Information Center. Each rental is free for up to 2 hours. Additional fees apply for any time exceeding this limit.
Purchase Notice
- After purchasing the SADO NIIGATA PASS, tickets can be picked up at the Niigata City Tourist Information Center located inside JR Niigata Station.
- When using the public bus between Niigata Station and Sado Kisen Ferry Terminal, please cut out the relevant section from the pass and use it as your ticket.
- When using the car ferry, buses within Sado Island, or the Niigata City Loop Bus, please exchange your voucher for your actual second-class ferry ticket and bus ticket at the respective ticket counter in advance.
- Tickets are non-refundable unless all car ferries are cancelled on the day of travel.
