Day 1 Thu. Bucharest
Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel / Meeting with the Tour-guide in city center. Visit the Patriarchal Church, Parliament Palace (photo stop), and Revolution Square, learning about the 1989 events. Overnight in Bucarest.
Day 2 Fri. Bucharest – Cozia – Sibiu – Bazna
Drive through the Olt Valley and stop at the Cozia Monastery, Romania's oldest Moanstery. In the afternoon, city tour in Sibiu, former European Capital of Culture, with highlights like the Brukenthal Palace, Bridge of Lies, and historic squares. Arrive in Bazna in the evening.
Day 3 Sat. Bazna – Biertan – Sighisoara – Bazna
After breakfast, visit Biertan, home to the largest fortified church in Transylvania, once the residence of evangelical bishops. Then, explore Sighisoara, with its well-preserved medieval buildings, including the Church upon the Hill and Dracula's birthplace. In the afternoon, return to Bazna, where you'll enjoy a carriage ride to the Boian Fortified Church.
Day 4 Sun. Bazna – Mosna – Predeal
In the morning, visit the beautiful Mosna Fortified Church, known for its remarkable architecture and high altar. Then, head to Predeal, the highest town in Romania (1040m), a climatic spa on the Wallachian-Transylvanian border.
Day 5 Mon. Predeal – Prejmer – Harman – Brasov – Bran – Predeal
In the morning, visit the fortified churches of Harman and Prejmer, once defensive structures for the Saxons. In the afternoon city tour of Brasov, founded in the 13th century by the Teutonic Knights. See key landmarks like the Black Church, Catherine’s Gate, and the Town Hall Square, then visit Bran Castle, known as Dracula’s Castle, now a museum.
Day 6 Tue. Predeal – Sinaia – Tulcea
Visit the Sinaia Monastery, founded in the 17th century, then continue through Wallachia to Tulcea. In the late afternoon, enjoy a Danube Delta cruise with dinner on board.
Day 7 Wed. – Tulcea – Constanta – Bucharest
Depart from Tulcea to Constanța, city tour with the visit of Ovidiu Square and the Orthodox Cathedral. In the afternoon, visit Bucharest’s Village Museum and end the day with a festive dinner and folklore program at Hanul lui Manuc.
