Upon arrival, explore either the official Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum with a licensed museum guide, or choose an alternative guided experience in the surrounding areas connected to the former camp complex.

The Museum Guided Tour includes entry to Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau. Visit original camp buildings, prisoner barracks, watchtowers, and the remains of gas chambers and crematoria. Follow the official exhibition and learn about the history of the camp and the lives of those imprisoned there.

The Surroundings Guided Tour does not include entry to the museum grounds. Instead, it focuses on historically significant locations around the former camp, including areas connected to Auschwitz I, Birkenau, Monowitz, and the historic Judenrampe. Your guide provides historical context and explains the events that took place in these areas.

Both options include round-trip transportation from Krakow and are conducted with a local guide, ensuring a respectful and well-organized visit to this important memorial site.
