As the highest-level five-star show jumping competition under the International Equestrian Federation (FEI), and also the highest-level, most internationally influential, and most entertaining equestrian event ever held in mainland China, the Longines Global Champions Tour Shanghai consistently represents the pinnacle of equestrian sports worldwide. Since its establishment at the Shanghai Juss International Equestrian Centre, the event has garnered widespread acclaim for its professional facilities and unique spectator experience.
This year, the competition schedule has been further optimized. Not only has a new 1.60m GCL (Global Team Championship) individual event been added to the first day of competition as one of the qualifying rounds for the Longines Grand Prix, enhancing both the competitiveness and entertainment value of the event; it also retains the daytime and evening sessions, satisfying diverse viewing needs and providing a full-day competition experience. With various competition formats alternating and top athletes competing side-by-side, the climax will be the highly anticipated 1.60m Longines Grand Prix on the afternoon of May 3rd, where global audiences will witness another glorious moment on the banks of the Huangpu River.
