This popular annual performance takes place at the "Shunjuza" within Kyoto University of the Arts! We present Kodo's latest work, which will stimulate all five senses.
Kodo member Yuki Hirata presents the latest work, creating a bright and hopeful world where happiness seems to spread. By intertwining the time Kodo has traveled (past, present, and future) with the sounds of the drums, we deliver a celebratory moment enveloped in blessings.
This performance is a fitting celebration for Kodo, which is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year, and for the Shunjuza Theatre, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Please look forward to this special performance that can only be experienced at the Shunjuza Theatre as it marks these milestones.
