■ Three highlights of the trip I. The Sada Misaki Peninsula is the longest and narrowest in Japan, with a length of 40km and a width of just 700m at its narrowest point, running along the "road in the sky" that separates the two seas. Riding along the ridge at an altitude of 300m, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the ocean on both sides. Cycling with the powerful wind blowing below you as you gaze upon the "flowing sea" where the Seto Inland Sea and Uwa Sea collide is a one-of-a-kind experience.
II. A private stay surrounded by saunas and starry skies. Agritopia, your base of stay, is a lodge on a hill overlooking the Uwa Sea. All rooms are equipped with saunas and kitchens, ensuring a private time. At night, the starry sky, which appears because there are no surrounding lights, becomes a natural planetarium that will help you forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
III. Freely explore the peninsula
Using a high-performance E-bike (electrically assisted bicycle), you can enjoy the ride in any way you like. From an active long ride to the lighthouse at the tip of the peninsula to a leisurely stroll around the stone wall villages and museums, you can immerse yourself deeply in the unique culture and nature of this area.

Product Info

The content of this product is provided by machine translation and may not reflect the actual information, please take this into consideration before booking.

The Sada Misaki Peninsula is the longest and narrowest peninsula in Japan. Stretching from east to west, the peninsula is approximately 40km long. Its narrowest point is only 700m wide, allowing you to see the ocean on both sides. The tides are so strong that it is known as "the town where the sea flows." The peninsula, unobstructed, is lit by abundant breezes, turning windmills. Agritopia, the base for this tour, is located at an elevation of approximately 300m. Spectacular views of the Uwa Sea, the ocean to the south of the peninsula, are an everyday sight. Time flows gracefully as you watch the deep blue sea and sky, and the ships sailing between Kyushu and Shikoku. With no lights around, the starry sky at night is also a spectacular sight. A stay on this quiet peninsula allows you to escape from everyday life.

The basic plan is a 2-night, 3-day package. Using Agritopia as a base, this experience style involves exploring the peninsula by rental bicycle. Against the backdrop of its unique topography and nature, this area retains cultural customs that are unique even within Japan. First, learn about this natural culture at the museum. Then, at the observation deck where you can experience nature, you can enjoy bird watching while feeling the breeze. You can try "sakiori" weaving, one of the unique cultures of the peninsula, stroll through the intricate stone-walled streets, or spend your time leisurely, or take an active long ride to the lighthouse at the tip of the peninsula. The style of enjoyment is up to you.

During your stay, breakfast and dinner will be served at the restaurant "SETOSETORA" adjacent to the lodge. Enjoy dishes made with plenty of local ingredients along with your favorite drink. You can also spend some private time in the lodge, which has a sauna. The rooms also have kitchens, so you can purchase ingredients during the day and enjoy meals in your room.

This package is based on a three-day, two-night stay that allows you to enjoy a stay like living on the peninsula. We can also accommodate requests for longer stays.
