Beginners and veterans alike are welcome! This pottery-making experience is available in small groups. In this plan, you'll create a cute, palm-sized pet. Experience the joy of crafting! After firing, you can either come and pick up your creation, or we'll ship it to you (shipping costs apply). Inside the Zashiki Warashi Village workshop, we display and sell works by the owner, who has been making pottery for about 30 years, as well as works by fellow potters. Many of the pieces are unique. We have a wood-fired anagama kiln in Higashiyama, Nakano City, next to Obuse, which is fired twice a year (June and December). Visitors are welcome to observe the kiln while it is firing.
