Located in the Mizusawa Onsen area of Senboku City, Akita Prefecture, Tazawako Ski Resort is a snow resort surrounded by magnificent nature. From the slopes, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the cobalt blue surface of Lake Tazawa, Japan's deepest lake, creating an environment that is both visually and skiing-wise very satisfying.

It is suitable for both skiers and snowboarders, and has a total of 13 courses that can be enjoyed by a wide range of skiers and snowboarders, from beginner to advanced. It offers a wide range of gentle slopes for beginner to intermediate skiers, as well as advanced courses with a maximum gradient of 38 degrees, and even areas with deep, ungroomed snow, making it an attractive resort with a variety of challenging slopes.

The ungroomed course, also known as "powder snow paradise," is especially popular among skiers seeking smooth, powdery snow.
