According to cruise line regulations: women who are 24 weeks or more pregnant during the voyage and infants under 6 months old are prohibited from boarding; those under 18 years old cannot register for the voyage alone; each room must have at least one passenger aged 21 or older.
If you require regular medication or injections, you must proactively inform the cruise line before registration. If necessary, you may be required to provide a fitness-to-travel certificate issued by a physician. Passengers carrying special controlled substances must have a doctor's prescription or relevant documentation, which should be provided to the ship's doctor or customs officials if needed for medical reasons or inspection.
Please be sure to follow the designated check-in time on your cruise ticket and arrive at the cruise terminal counter on time to complete the check-in procedures. The cruise will close its counters and begin customs clearance 120-180 minutes before departure. To avoid being unable to board due to late arrival, please pay close attention to this.
In the event of a confirmed case of illness abroad, medical treatment will be provided on board or at the local port of call, in accordance with the cruise line's and local government's epidemic prevention regulations. Expenses for food, accommodation, and medical treatment incurred due to quarantine will be handled according to the cruise line's or the local port's regulations, and such costs shall be borne by the confirmed individual.
Individuals with special statuses such as military service age, military/police personnel, and contract employees must comply with relevant laws and regulations and apply for or register with their local township/district office or personnel unit.
The cruise line reserves the right to cancel or change the scheduled itinerary, timing, or vessel due to force majeure or adverse weather conditions.
Pregnant women: Pregnant passengers must proactively inform us of their gestational age and number of fetuses, and carry a fitness-to-travel certificate issued by a physician at all times. If a passenger enters the 24th week of pregnancy before the end of the voyage, MSC Cruises will refuse boarding. Please be sure to inform us at the time of registration. If the voyage is affected due to the passenger concealing their pregnancy or physical condition, the cruise line reserves the right to pursue legal action for any resulting costs.
Infants under 6 months old and pregnant women at 24 weeks or more cannot board (no doctor's notes or liability waivers will be accepted). Medical equipment, injections, electric wheelchairs, etc., must be applied for in advance and approved by the cruise line before being brought on board. Passengers with disabilities must be accompanied by a companion who can provide full-time care throughout the voyage.
Traveling with infants: The cruise line stipulates that infants must be at least six months old on the day of boarding to be permitted to board, and infants must occupy a bed. We kindly ask guests to carefully consider the potential inconveniences of traveling with infants when registering to avoid any dissatisfaction or trouble. A limited number of baby cots are available on board upon request; please submit your request early to avoid disappointment.
Passengers with disabilities: Must be able to care for themselves or be accompanied by another passenger who can provide all necessary assistance throughout the voyage. All required medications must be carried personally to ensure timely access to necessary help. Universal rooms are limited in number; please submit your request as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Travelers with dual citizenship should carry both passports. If you hold a non-ROC passport, please verify and handle the visa and relevant entry requirements for the 'destination' and 're-entry into Taiwan' on your own. If you fall into the aforementioned category, please inform your service representative at the time of booking.

The final arrangement can only be confirmed upon check-in.

The arrival, docking, and departure times for each port of call on this itinerary, including the starting and ending points of Tokyo, Japan and Keelung Port, Taiwan, are subject to change at any time due to weather, sea conditions, or port regulations. All times are subject to the announcements or daily newsletters provided by the cruise line.
Since Taiwan is located in the Northwest Pacific typhoon belt, typhoons frequently occur in summer and autumn, often causing delays or cancellations of flights and cruises due to weather. It is recommended that passengers arrive in the departure country or region several days before the cruise departure date to avoid missing the boarding time due to transportation disruptions. If you are unable to take your flight to the departure port due to factors such as typhoons, and the cruise departs as scheduled, the cruise line will treat it as a cancellation by the passenger on that day, and no refund will be provided. Please be sure to evaluate and arrange your itinerary properly.
The cruise line reserves the right to cancel or change the scheduled itinerary, time, or vessel under force majeure and adverse weather conditions.
If you are unable to board due to non-compliance with the above notices, cancellation fees will be charged in accordance with the contract.
