The bathhouse can only accommodate one additional person. Children under 110 cm tall are free of charge. Children over 110 cm tall will be charged an additional TWD600 per person.

You can reach Marshal Zhang's Residence by public transportation or by car. After taking the MRT to Xinbeitou Station, you can transfer to the scheduled shuttle bus provided by the residence, or take a taxi or minibus. If you choose to drive, parking is available on-site. It is recommended to plan your route in advance to ensure a smooth journey and to experience the unique mountain forest atmosphere of Beitou.
After exiting Beitou MRT Station, there are several public transportation options to reach Marshal Zhang's Residence. You can take the free scheduled shuttle bus provided by the residence, which usually picks up passengers opposite Beitou Park, next to the Beitou Library. Alternatively, you can take the S25 bus from beside Beitou MRT Station and get off at the Marshal Zhang's Residence stop, or take a taxi directly. The taxi ride takes about 10-15 minutes, which is very convenient.
Besides the MRT and bus, driving to Marshal Zhang's Residence is also a very convenient option. Parking spaces are available within the residence, making it convenient for self-driving travelers. If you prefer not to drive, you can also take a taxi directly from downtown Taipei; the journey takes about 30-40 minutes, with fares calculated by meter. Considering the mountain roads, taking a taxi offers greater convenience and comfort.

The former site of Marshal Zhang's Residence was a high-class Japanese-style hot spring inn in Beitou, known as 'Youya Villa' during the Japanese colonial era. It later served as the place where Marshal Zhang Xueliang was placed under house arrest, imbued with a sense of historical depth. The residence retains the elegant style of Japanese architecture, combined with local Taiwanese elements, creating a tranquil and retro atmosphere. This allows visitors to experience rich historical and cultural heritage alongside their hot spring and dining experiences.
