Visa
Batam Center Terminal now features an advanced auto gate system to streamline the immigration process and significantly reduce queuing times.
① For Visa on Arrival (VOA) Guests:
- Guests requiring a Visa on Arrival can complete their payment through the system during the QR code scanning process.
- After payment, they can proceed to use the auto gate like other travellers upon arrival at Batam Center Terminal.

⓶ For Singapore PR Visa on Arrival Guests:
- Guests who are Singapore Permanent Residents (PR) and require a Visa on Arrival must use the traditional immigration process and cannot utilize the auto gate.
- Cannot use the auto gate.
③ For Guests with Physical Visas:
- Guests with a physical visa (already recorded in the system) do not need to scan a QR code.
- Can directly use the auto gate upon arrival.
Indonesia Arrival Card (“White Card”)
- Please be informed that effective 1 September 2025, all visitors — including both Indonesian and Singaporean nationals — will be required to complete the Indonesia Arrival Card (“White Card”) before entering Batam.
- All Indonesia – allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id Mobile App: Download via the App Store or Google Play Store by searching for “All Indonesia”
- Recommendation: Please complete the Indonesia Arrival Card at least 3 days before departure to ensure a smoother immigration process at the ferry terminal and to minimise waiting time upon arrival.

① Can I travel with a passport expiring in less than 6 months?
Immigration will reject entry for passports with less than 6 months of validity, unless you are a citizen of the destination.
②Can I use a temporary passport?
Entry is generally not allowed unless you have a special visa issued for your temporary passport.
