Product Info

-What you can expect-
The first part of the day will be spent visiting two Provence vineyards for tours and wine tastings. Taste wonderful full-bodied reds with excellent structure (typical grape varieties used are Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Carignan, and Cabernet-Sauvignon), and subtle, elegant rosés.

Take a stroll into the Provence vineyards and admire the views, visit the barrel cellars and vat rooms and learn about Côtes de Provence wine. Then have free time for a snack (not included) in Aix en Provence. Your afternoon is dedicated to exploring the highlights of the Luberon. The first village you will visit is Lourmarin, known as one of "the most beautiful villages in France" and famous for its Renaissance castle.

Next you'll drive through Bonnieux. This Luberon village is dominated by its church, located at 425 metres above sea level, and is passed by the Combe of Lourmarin, a unique road through the Luberon. Then in Roussillon you'll capture the natural beauty of the hilltop village and the famous red, brown and orange shades of its ochre cliffs.

The last village of the afternoon is Gordes. This beautiful village remains true to its mediaeval past with buildings made entirely of the local stones called ‘lauze’. The tour finishes at Aix-en-Provence where you'll arrive at 7.00pm.
