About the Japan Brewers Cup 2024 presented by Schmatz
Japan's largest winter craft beer event, combining a beer tasting and a beer festival.
This is a rare competition in the world where the results are announced on the same day, allowing customers to immediately enjoy the flavors that have been approved by the brewers.
To celebrate the event, the festival has officially partnered with the Gold Brewers Seal, the Czech Republic's largest beer competition, and holds a full-scale beer competition every year that is open only to brewers (beer craftsmen).
A total of 41 breweries will be gathering, including 34 Japanese breweries, four American breweries, one Canadian brewery, one Taiwanese brewery, and one Korean brewery, and will offer a total of approximately 200 types of beer from Japan, Asia, Europe and the United States, starting from 600 yen per glass (prices set by each brewery).
Live music performances by artists and stage performances by comedians also liven up the toast scene and are another highlight.

Minors are welcome to enter, but as drinking alcohol under the age of 20 is prohibited by law, no alcohol will be served. We may ask for your age at the entrance, so please bring an ID to verify your age. Please note that admission is free for junior high school students and younger (15 years old and under).
Smoking is prohibited throughout the venue. Smoking is prohibited regardless of whether it is paper cigarettes or electronic cigarettes. If smoking is observed, security guards will force you to leave the venue.
We do not accept cancellations or refunds after purchase.
As this is an alcohol-based event, please refrain from driving a car, motorbike, or bicycle on the day of the event. Even if your companion is driving, we expect the Hammerhead and nearby parking lots to be very crowded, so we ask that you use public transportation whenever possible.
Please note that this is an all-standing event and chairs will not be provided. Bringing chairs into the venue is also strictly prohibited.

Food and alcohol are not permitted inside the venue. Soft drinks such as water are permitted.
