  • Old Pond Art Village
    Created by abstract artist Kuang Chin-fu (Kuang Yi), the 'Old Pond Art Village' was built using various discarded construction materials over 30 years. Here, you can see creations reflecting early Taiwanese rural life, Minnan-style architecture, and Mongolian styles. It is an art park with a wild and unique character.

  • Yongle Market
    Yongle Market is a traditional market in the West Central District of Tainan City. Officially named the Yongle Public Retail Market, it is a two-story reinforced brick building constructed in April 1963 with 234 stalls. Located at the intersection of Guohua Street and Minzu Road, it forms a large market area with the adjacent Shuixian Temple Market and is surrounded by many famous tourist attractions and snacks.

    Due to its treacherous terrain, the Lugangmen port channel was once the gateway for Taiwan (Taijiang Inner Sea) and the location of two of the eight ancient scenic spots of Taiwan: 'Lugang Spring Tide' and 'Lugang Sailing.' After several diversions and land reclamation, the Lugangmen Creek has become a dead-end stream. Fed by the Zhufa Port drainage and rainwater, it never dries up. Fishermen set up oyster racks at the river mouth. The Lugangmen Creek mouth is an important spot for people to enjoy the sunset. In the evening, you can see the setting sun, returning fishing boats, lying bamboo rafts, and oyster racks planted along the river, forming a beautiful fishing village scene.
