This chartered car experience in Taiwan was absolutely fantastic! The driver was incredibly kind and the most enthusiastic and considerate driver I've ever encountered on my trip! 1. He was practically a personal concierge: He didn't rigidly follow a fixed route but tailored a more cost-effective itinerary based on our specific needs, helping us avoid many pitfalls. 2. A walking "map" and "guide": Not only did he drive smoothly, but he also proactively explained the local customs and culture along the way. Most importantly, he's a photography whiz! He took us directly to the best photo spots, ensuring we could get a great shot right out of the car, saving time and effort—perfect for those of us who didn't want to walk but still wanted to take beautiful photos. 3. He had a wide network, taking us to eat and have fun: Following him was definitely the right choice. He used his local connections to take us to many hidden gems that weren't listed in travel guides. He was also incredibly sincere, watching us order and proactively suggesting, "This portion is enough for the two of you," ensuring we didn't waste any food—he truly cared about us. 4. A fantastic teammate who saved us money: He even took us to buy great value souvenirs, which were not only high quality but also much cheaper than what we found on our own. In short, this trip wasn't just about hiring a car; it felt like having a local friend showing us around. I'll definitely use him again next time I'm in Taiwan! Highly recommend him to anyone visiting Taiwan—you won't regret choosing him!
Even though it was a group tour, it felt like a private trip for just the two of us, so we could enjoy ourselves without worrying about the time. The driver seemed to have changed suddenly, but he was kind, which was great.
It's about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, and there's also a van-type shuttle bus available if you wait. If you're walking, they'll call out to you along the way! It's cheaper to purchase tickets in advance on this website! You also get a drink ticket, which is nice after your bath. It's a Japanese-style day spa, so it was great that you could go in completely naked. The hot springs range from warm to hot, and there's a sauna, steam sauna, open-air bath, cold bath, and a reclining jacuzzi. The indoor bath is semi-open-air, which is also very pleasant. It's also nice that there's no time limit. There are many locals and they talk loudly, but there are chairs and reclining chairs, so it's best to grab one of those first and rest there while you bathe. You can hear the babbling of the river and the chirping of birds - it's very relaxing.
