We visited with our family of five and a friend's family. We entered as soon as it opened and headed straight to the buffet. There was a huge array of international dishes, and we were surprised by the variety of the menu! And the food was delicious. By 6:30 PM, there was quite a line at the buffet, so it was definitely the right decision to go as soon as it opened ^_^ When we finished eating and went outside, it was just time for the parade. We were near the end of the parade route, so we couldn't see it very well, but towards the end of the parade, balloons fell, and lots of bubble balls? soap? or air bubbles? fell, and the children were overjoyed! The adults also had a great time in this chaotic space ♪ Afterwards, we decided to play some games nearby until it was time for the show. Each game cost about 600 yen. The games were all quite difficult and not really for children, but the staff were shouting incredibly loudly... to an unbelievable degree... cheering? or strange noises? which was also unique and fun! Haha, I tried 10 times but couldn't clear any games and didn't get any prizes, but it was fun ♡ Then it was time for the show we'd been waiting for. We put all our cameras and video recorders in lockers and made our way through the gorgeous building to the venue. We were excited to see what kind of show it would be, and soon it was showtime and the show began! It was a show where we could learn a lot about Thai history, art, and decoration all at once. Everything was huge, and the effects were extravagant and it was so much fun. Even moving efficiently from 17:30 to 22:30 was quite tiring. Try to conserve your energy before you go! I highly recommend it ♡
The tour was conducted in English and Thai, but it was easy to understand, so about half of the participants were Japanese! The package included a speedboat tour of four islands (we landed on three on this trip), a light snack before departure, a buffet lunch on Phi Phi Island, cold water on board, a new snorkeling goggle, and hotel transfers. It was incredibly reasonable and offered great value for money. The tour conductor and staff were all wonderful, kind, friendly, and fun! Midway through the tour, for an extra fee (200 baht per person on this trip), you could transfer to a smaller boat for onboard photography and swimming at a small beach. At the end, you could also purchase framed photos taken by the photographer for 200 baht each. Of course, you can also take photos with your own smartphone. Water shoes and waterproof cases are available for purchase at the reception, but payment is cash only, so it's best to bring your own (*^^*)
