Overall, a pleasant experience but a bumpy ride up to the tour area of Mae Kampong. Highlights were the waterfall area, Mae Kampong Village itself, and lunch and the Lanna Wild Resort. If there was any improvement needed - the tour guide needed to be more descriptive and explain each area that the tour covered. I understand it was challenging providing commentary during the journey up to the mountain but at each stop he could have provided more information.

I participated in the Bua Thong Waterfall tour without any idea what it would be like, but it turned out to be surprisingly slippery, making it a safe place even for small children to climb. It was a fun, water-playing experience. I recommend wearing clothes that can get wet, but since we only got wet up to our knees, shorts should be sufficient. At the elephant conservation center, we changed into special costumes and had the rare opportunity to feed the elephants and play with them in the river. There were baby elephants, and they looked so happy when we splashed water on them; it was very heartwarming. Overall, it was a very fulfilling tour. However, since everyone in my group except me was Chinese, I felt a little out of place. Also, some participants had questionable manners, and the lunch wasn't to my liking, which was a bit disappointing. Therefore, I gave it a 4-star rating.
