Before setting off, there was a possibility that the tram service might be canceled due to the cold weather in South Korea, especially last week in Pyeongchang when it dropped to -19 degrees Celsius. Fortunately, the temperature in Seoul rose by more than 15 degrees, so the tram trip on the morning of February 13th went ahead as planned. Thanks to Joey's detailed explanation, we learned that the tram had applied for its right-of-way, and we could freely greet pedestrians on the street, who responded very warmly. This gave me a much better impression of South Korea, as people from Eastern countries are usually more introverted and shy. I unexpectedly enjoyed this experience immensely – it was all so perfect! Joey also took us to a market frequented by locals, where we sampled local delicacies. I am incredibly grateful to Joey and the driver. While we were pedaling, the driver simultaneously recharged the battery and guided us in each direction. Finally, a tip for everyone: booking in the morning during winter offers a good chance of chartering a tram!
