Trip was well paced from Kyoto. However, I thought it would be too much bus time for those from Osaka. Weather was a bit of a let down so if there were some sale of daiso raincoat , it would have felt more thoughtful. In terms of food recommendation at Amanohasidate, more could be said on the bus trip before orders were taken for the ‘convenient’ katsu restaurant at gathering point. For example , the hilltop restaurant was lovely. Guides were kind and polite. Locations are nice with great nature/air but slightly off by gloomy weather and off season energy of closed shops. Cruise is a must - feeding eagles were energizing.
The view from the plane offered stunning vistas, including Osaka Castle and the tomb of Emperor Nintoku, making for a truly enjoyable aerial stroll over Osaka. The souvenir shop was overflowing with Osaka's local specialties, and just browsing was a delightful experience.
Our tour guide, Fu Shuo, was fantastic. It was a relaxing trip – a must-try when visiting Osaka! They provide private car service so you don't have to worry about transportation.
Although it was a bit late, I was able to briefly watch a tuna carving show at Toretore Market. I also took a hot spring bath at Shirahama Onsen, located near the market; the water was excellent and the facilities were superb. The scenery at Senjojiki and Sandanbeki was incredibly beautiful. The guide provided explanations in both English and Chinese, so I had no major difficulties; the English pronunciation was clear, so I could understand it well.
I really wanted to visit Lake Biwa, the largest lake in Japan, and I had a comfortable and enjoyable trip. I also visited the historic Sanzen-in Temple, where the garden was so beautiful and peaceful that it calmed my mind. The guide provided explanations in both English and Chinese, and was very kind and dedicated, even holding the hand of an older customer when they got off the bus.
